Welcome to Health Services!

The Galt Joint Union Elementary School District Health Department provides nursing and health services to students, assists in planning school health programs, and serves as a resource in preparing health education curriculum according to district established standards.

The School Nurse provides direct nursing services, referrals, and consultations, as well as supervises school site Health Assistants.

Our Health Assistants provide basic first aid care and in some cases specialized care to elementary and middle school students.  They maintain health records and work to keep the District in compliance with state mandated requirements in all health related areas.
