Resources for Families
Concerns related to COVID-19 are causing stress, anxiety, and uncertainty for us all. Children look to adults for guidance in how to respond in stressful situations. If the adults around them are overwhelmed with their own stress and worry, children are likely to become more anxious and fearful. But, how do we help when we are feeling overwhelmed ourselves?
The Galt Joint Elementary School District Special Services staff are available to support our students. Specialists are reaching out to students and families who they have been working with this school year. If you would like to talk with a Specialist from your child’s school, please email the specialist from your site with your child's name, your phone number, and school they attend and one of our specialists will respond as soon as possible.
