Superintendent's Letter

With a united and powerful learning vision and direction, GJUESD implements personalized instruction for over 3,800 learners. In June 2017, the Board of Trustees approved the state-required Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) with four goals:

Goal 1:  Developing Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs) for every learner

Goal 2:  Implement Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in every classroom through blended and flexible learning environments

Goal 3:  Using data, meaningful evaluation, and self-reflection to continuously improve classroom instruction

Goal 4:  Providing safe, clean school facilities with the flexibility and infrastructure needed for high-level instruction

With balanced attention to strengths and interests blended with academic challenge and technology tools, our children thrive in engaging learning environments.

Building a bright future for all learners- we can do it in Galt, California!

Karen Schauer Ed.D., Superintendent
